Brian Callender | Sr. Vice President, Operations
Brian is the Senior Vice President for Operations and Programs at Rhoads, responsible for the planning and execution of all Submarine Focus Factory and Department of Defense activities associated with fabrication, outfitting, maintenance, and servicing. He also oversees Rhoads’ internal facility maintenance and construction efforts.
Brian brings 35 years of engineering and production experience related to the construction, overhaul, and reactor servicing of nuclear-powered submarines, aircraft carriers, and land-based prototypes. He also has extensive program and project management experience associated with the construction and maintenance of major nuclear facilities. Prior to joining Rhoads, Brian held numerous leadership positions in the US Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program/Naval Reactors, with over 20 years as a member of the Senior Executive Service.
Brian earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In addition, he is a graduate of the Bettis Reactor Engineering School, is a certified Project Management Professional, and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
