Philadelphia, PA, Match 19, 2018 – Rhoads Industries, Inc. (Rhoads), a strategic partner and total solution provider of industrial fabrication, installation and maintenance services and facilities, was awarded $3 million to aid in the third phase of the reconstruction project at their Building 57 Philadelphia Navy Yard headquarters.
Late 2013 marked the beginning of the Building 57 restoration project, which will allow for more space and future opportunities for Rhoads. The company was one of 217 recipients of funds from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) in August 2019 and has used its previous two awards, totaling $5 million, to support the project’s Phase I and Phase II construction costs.
An unprecedented third award from RACP in the form of this $3 million grant will allow continued construction on Phase III Building 57 renovations, which will add 70,000 sf of heavy fabrication and manufacturing space, and aid in the completion of the restoration of this 300,000 sf facility.
