Philadelphia, PA, October 3, 2018 – Rhoads Industries, Inc. (Rhoads), a strategic partner and total solution provider of industrial fabrication, installation and maintenance services and facilities, was awarded a five-year contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Philadelphia. Rhoads Industries, Inc. was awarded a five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple-award contract. Under this agreement, Rhoads will provide support for the assembly and testing services of submarine mast, antenna, periscope, communications systems hull, mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Work under this contract will be completed by 2023 and was awarded by the Naval Service Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This contract also comes after a recent contract with the Naval Service Warfare Center announced in June 2018 for fabrication, installation and technical services in support of the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion program at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
