Target Zero Program was created to further our efforts in establishing Rhoads as a leader in setting and achieving premier environmental, health and safety performance standards and objectives. The program is focused on targeting zero—achieving ZERO environmental, health and safety incidents increasing our ability to perform in a manner that minimizes health and safety risks to our clients, our employees, the general public, and the environment.

Our Safety record is paying dividends with each reduction in our E.M.R. as well as lower insurance costs which are passed on to our customers. Rhoads Industries has a comprehensive safety program that addresses hazardous material, confined space, hot work, fall protection, and lock out/tag out policies and procedures.

We also maintain a DOT approved drug testing program. All employees are required to actively participate in the random drug test. All new employees are subject to new hire drug testing. Subcontractors are only approved if they meet or exceed our safety criteria. Adherence to these policies insures that our customers maintain a safe and educated work force equal to that of Rhoads Industries own personnel. Our goal is to provide a safe and productive work site at all times.
