Rhoads Maritime Industries is fortunate to occupy some of the most capable shipyard facilities in the eastern United States. Part of the former Philadelphia Navy Shipyard, Pier 5 and dry Dock No. 2 were consigned to civilian control in the mid-1990's, and have been operated as part of the private enterprise of the Philadelphia "Navy Yard" enterprise community since that time.
